This battery terminal cleaner kit clears the white and green crust that builds up on battery posts and clamps, one of the common culprits behind slow starts and weak charging. Each brush is double-ended: a tapered outer brush scrubs the post, and an internal brush under the cap cleans the inside of the clamp, so both contact surfaces end up bright metal.
Once everything is clean, the 10 felt washers slip over the posts under the terminals to slow future corrosion. It suits 6V and 12V batteries with top or side posts in cars, trucks, RVs and marine use.

Key features
- Two surfaces, one tool: each dual-ended brush cleans the battery post and the inside of the clamp.
- Bristles that bite: stainless steel wire cuts through stubborn corrosion.
- Protected storage: a metal case covers the bristles and keeps them off your hands and out of the toolbox clutter.
- Slower buildup: 10 anti-corrosion felt washers sit under the terminals after cleaning.
- Easy to match: 5 red washers for positive posts and 5 green for negative.
- Wide fit: works on top-post and side-post 6V and 12V batteries.

Good to know
Before using the battery terminal cleaner, switch the engine off and disconnect the negative cable first, then the positive. Clean the posts and clamps, fit a red washer on the positive post and a green one on the negative, and reconnect positive first, then negative. Wear gloves and eye protection, since battery corrosion is acidic.
