This glass hummingbird feeder is designed to bring hummingbirds in and keep everything else out. A built-in ant moat stops ants on their way down the hanger, the flower-shaped ports are sized for a hummingbird's beak rather than a bee, and the two-part base seals tight so nectar stays in the bottle instead of dripping onto your patio.
It holds 10 oz, which is a sensible amount for a small garden: enough to keep birds fed, small enough to empty and refresh before the nectar spoils. Hang it from a branch, a porch hook or a shepherd's crook and you have a front-row seat.
Key features
- Built-in ant moat: fill it with water and ants cannot cross to reach the nectar.
- 5 bee-proof flower ports: the narrow openings fit a hummingbird's beak while keeping bees and wasps out.
- Leak-proof two-part base: seals tight while hanging, then pops apart so you can scrub every corner.
- Wide-mouth glass bottle: fills without a funnel, and the clear glass shows you when the nectar is running low.
- 360 degree perch: birds can settle and feed from any side, which means longer visits to watch.
- Ready to hang: a hanging hook is included.

Good to know
For homemade nectar, mix 1 part white sugar with 4 parts water and let it cool before filling. There is no need for red dye, as the bright red base already catches a hummingbird's eye. Clean your glass hummingbird feeder every few days, and more often in hot weather, by twisting the base apart and washing both parts in warm water. Top up the ant moat each time you refill.
