Play on a tray, a tablecloth or a large baking sheet to keep the kinetic play sand in one place; stray bits press back into the main ball easily. Store each color in its sealed bag after play to keep it clean and soft. On very warm days it can feel a little stickier, as heat softens the binder, so rinse hands with water before playing. Always supervise younger children and wash hands afterwards.
