This ring sizer takes the guessing out of buying a ring online. Loop it over your finger, pull the end until it feels like a ring that fits, and read your US size straight off the scale, anywhere from 1 to 17.
It is handy for engagement and wedding rings, for buying a ring as a gift, and for checking whether your size has changed over the years. Because it is reusable, the whole household can measure every finger, and you can keep it in a drawer for the next purchase.

How to get an accurate reading
Fingers swell and shrink through the day, so measure in the late afternoon or evening when your hands are warm, and repeat two or three times. Pull the ring sizer until it is snug at the base of the finger but can still slide over the knuckle, then read the number at the arrow. If you land between two sizes, the larger one is usually the more comfortable choice, especially for wide bands.
